Metrus Energy announced today a new $3.6 million Efficiency Service Agreement (ESA) with a leading medical technology company. The project scope will include LED lighting upgrades and controls at nine different sites in Indiana and Florida.The project, Metrus’ third with this company, will generate an expected annual savings of $604,000. The annual CO2 reduction will be approximately 3,550 tons as a result of a 5.27 million annual kWh reduction. The total investment to date by Metrus under this efficiency-as-a-service program is now $7.5 million and spans 14 sites.Metrus partnered with SmartWatt Energy, Inc., which will provide engineering and construction services as well as ongoing monitoring services, and KeyBank Equipment Finance, an established leader in funding sustainability projects.
