Metrus Announces its 8th ESA with Fortune 100 Technology Customer

Metrus Energy has announced a new $5.2 million Efficiency Services Agreement (ESA) with its Fortune 100 technology customer. This latest deal encompasses10 sites and spans 8 states.The project will reduce total electricity use for lighting at those 10 sites by 77%, thereby eliminating 10,091 tons of annual CO2 emissions - the equivalent of taking 1,944 cars off the road.This is Metrus’ eighth transaction with this customer over the past two years. Metrus has now financed over $75 million of projects under this nationwide efficiency-as-a-service program.SmartWatt and the Clean Energy team at Key Equipment Finance are partnering with Metrus on this project.
