Metrus Energy announced today a $1.3 million Efficiency Service Agreement (ESA) with a leading medical technology company. The project scope will include LED lighting upgrades and controls at the customer’s Midwest headquarters.The project, Metrus’s first with this company, will generate an expected annual savings of $285,000. The annual CO2 reduction will be approximately 1,800 metric tons as a result of a 2.4 million annual kWh reduction.Metrus partnered with SmartWatt, an energy optimization firm which will provide engineering and construction services as well as ongoing monitoring services, and Citi, one of the world’s largest financial institutions.
