Metrus Energy Hires Ed Henry as Chief Financial Officer

San Francisco – (May 3, 2022) – Metrus Energy, a market leader in climate-positive investing, announced today the hiring of industry veteran Ed Henry as Chief Financial Officer.

Henry will have responsibility for the company’s commercial financing structures, corporate strategy and capital structure optimization, accounting, planning and financial compliance.

He joins Metrus from Centrica Business Solutions (CBS) North America where he led the Finance function from 2017 – 2022, which included an asset management team responsible for acquisition and management of a broad portfolio of distributed generation and renewable assets.

Prior to working at CBS, Henry was the CFO of Seegrid, a leader in autonomous mobile robots, and in that role achieved the 2016 Pittsburgh CFO of the Year award from the Pittsburgh Business Times. Prior to Seegrid, he was the CFO of Laurel Mountain Energy, a regional upstream energy company, where he helped raise significant private equity funding to launch the company operations. He began his career with Ernst and Young as an auditor and received a BSBA in Accounting from West Virginia University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
