Energy Service Companies (ESCOs)

Metrus offers a solution to finance comprehensive EE retrofit projects that, absent the ESA, would otherwise be much smaller in scope or go undone. This can help ESCO partners advance discussions with customers who do not have the capital to invest in projects. The projects that are developed can also be larger, as there is less strain on hurdle rates. ESCO partners serve as both sources of project origination as well as providers of project implementation and ongoing maintenance and M&V services.

Finance Partners

Metrus provides finance partners with an opportunity to fund EE projects using a streamlined structure that can aggregate investment opportunities to achieve added scale.

Energy Utilities

Metrus catalyzes the implementation of projects that can help utilities meet increasingly ambitious regulatory requirements for energy savings. Metrus’s ESA can support existing utility efficiency programs or be utilized to develop innovative third-party initiatives.
